I remember the first time my dad brought home a Sony Walkman—borrowed from someone just for a day—and I listened to music on the headphones. It was mind-blowing to hear such a clear sound coming out of such a small device!
When I think of that day, it fills me with an overwhelming sense of gratitude to be having a smartphone and earphones, and internet, and all the technology today.

When I flew in an airplane for the first time, and every time after that, I couldn’t help but think back to the roots of humanity and feel the indescribable joy of being alive in these times.
If you’re cognizant of your surroundings, and of your roots, you would value every little comfort you enjoy.
The tap water, the fan, the four walls, the roof, the bed you tuck yourself comfortably in. Even if your home is small, or the bed is smelly. You’ve come a long way.
Life is wonderful!

Be grateful for everything. Say grace before your meals. Remember that in the past people had to go hungry for days hunting and gathering food, and even then they didn’t have food as good as what you get with just a few taps on your device.
If you can’t find things to be grateful for every day, heck, in every moment... Man, your life must suck!
May God bless you.
