People have a hard time holding these two positions:
1. What Israel did in Gaza is genocide
2. Hamas and the supporting Palestinians, as well as Iranian regime, are evil
It's perfectly okay to hold both views
The reason why people cannot hold both of these views is because it does not provide them resolution
The mind needs to resolve conflicts even if that resolution is a delusion, and people can only resolve conflict in their mind by picking a side
